Today was our big Hop on Hop off bus day so of course it was freezing cold and raining. Have you ever tried to find a Hop on bus with a roof - take it from me, they are quite rare. At least the traffic wasn't as bad as in London.

We saw all the landmarks as well as our first Christmas Market. We planned to get off for photo opportunities but the rain just got heavier.

Did finally hop off at Gare Nord so we could buy our train tickets for Reims, tomorrow. Checked with the information desk about timetables and ticket machines. About 15 minutes later with everyone telling which buttons to push and a beggar pleading with me for money we finally got 4 return tickets.
That was so exhausting that we just had to return back to our apartment and hotel for showers and a rest. Alan and Ellen came round to our place around 5 and we had a very enjoyable nights playing cards, eating nibbles and drinking wine. Just to let you know Ellen makes a great Euchre partner and Alan cheats.
